Safety flares

Where in Victoria is the best place to get safety flares.?
I just realized that I’ve got some outdated ones.

I have them and probably everyone should, but after getting a warning last year for flares that were one day expired, I looked up what a boat under 6m requires. I am not going to argue with a peace officer over it but going by what I read, you don't have to have them if you are under 1 nm from shore, which I was at the time. Should have just advised me and saved the paper work.

I bought mine from Trotac. They pro-rated them to their expiry date.

If you have a watertight flashlight you don't need flares on a boat under 6m. You can find that on the Transport Canada site. I am never more that 5 miles from shore and have a good flashlight.if my flares expire it does not matter, they will still fire but are redundant. 14 ft Lund.

Not trying to be a smart butt here but you don't need flares tell you do... A ditch bag is a good idea with all safety gear in it .Just my 2 bits
