Pretty cool way to fish for salmon...

I went out for a four hour paddle and a quick fish. I was happy to have had the opportunity to battle out a nice little 13lbs. Chinook Salmon, that I caught while trolling aprox. 1 and a bit miles off in the deep water not very far from Neck Point & Shack Island in the waters off of Nanaimo area.

That is sweet. Something I would love to try. Nice on Rob....couldn't help notice the AquaBound paddle you are using....My shop actually built the punch dies that punched the 1 hole (or 3 holes, depending on model) that align the paddle @ 90 degrees, or a 45 either way.

Totally want a ocean yak setup! You look familiar? Do you work at PNT? If so you suggested a spoon last fall that caught me my first coho from shore! (or the guy who works there that looks like you did )
