Ross Lake?

Anyone fish Ross Lake recently?
We are going the last week of October and curious if anyone has tips.
We will be experimenting by flicking and dragging flys, tossing a few spoons and even dragging old pop gear.

Ideas on the best spots this time of year?

Ross lake in the Skagit Valley? Might be pretty low the Americans usually draw down the lake in the fall. Could be tough fishing on the Canadian side. Also the roads still washed out from last year not sure you’ll be able to make it out there. Access issues aside the typical lake flies work, if your targeting bull trout big white streamers work well as well as twitching jigs.

We actually got a rare reservation at the lodge, on the American side, for 4 days with a boat, so access will not a problem. Having never been able to fish there before, and having the time and ability to move around a bit, we are reading all we can about the various methods and areas over the years.
I appreciate your input, thanks!

Went in on the south and due to the weather, never made it north, but yes, there are nice fish in there!

Awesome, fishing the upper skagit and the lake is one of my favourite fisheries. Definitely missed it this year with the washout, fingers crossed for next year.🤞
