Rookie Needs Help

Hi,

This is my first post on the forum and well I have some questions! My four friends and I have fished MAYBE once a year with our families but this summer we have taken it more seriously and have gone multiple times a week. We normally go fish near Squamish or at the Steveston dock in Richmond. We are properly equipped and have had multiple fishing trips that came out fairly successful. But we havent had the chance to hit up any bigger games. Like a good sized halibut or trout. Around the Vancouver to Squamish area where can we find some really good fishing spots? And are there any tips that you can give to new fishers like us. Fishing is definitely something we all love but we just have trouble advancing our knowledge and reaching new levels of success. Please help

Thanks !

Sorry Frog but your post smacks of - forum-infiltrator.

"...good sized halibut or trout." "...Squamish or at the Steveston dock." (whoever fished for either of these species at either of these locations?)
"...advancing our knowledge and reaching new levels of success." (words of a foreign-astronaut maybe, not a fisherman)

I'll go out on a limb here: You're a salmon-farmer!

If I read his post right. It soulds like he would like to catch things other then bullheads and toxic bottom fish.

Sounds like he needs to buy a boat.

hire me,, i'll take your group out for a fish....an eco tour,,whateva..
