Something new ...:)

Student filmed documentary about the Rollyblade (aka Tri-Flasher) story.
The Rollyblade is a fishing flasher designed, manufactured and marketed by high school students. The documentary was filmed and edited by the high school students. Most of the footage was shot at various trade shows at which the students had booths set up to market the Rollyblade flasher, and to promote tourism in Nakusp, BC.

I had one a couple years ago and the fins broke of first time out ! It was given to me when the school first started making them ! I think they've improved on there heat bending technique since

The first generation rollyblade was made out of plexiglass and were too fragile. They are now made out of lexan which is very strong.

I figure you can fool a salmon to bite. Without the colors. Are you in the right place, at the right time, with the right equiment.

Yes ...they are nice and shiny and reflective alright.... just like any other chrome flasher that is revolving on a sunny clear day in less than 30ft of water. (they aren't even that deep in the vid.)

They're going to have to make some in glow for the guys that fish 150ft + down.....

Discus, It is a great story...too bad their budget didn't include closed captioning! Summary: Essentially the students got the experience of developing and selling a cool product from a local inventor at some big trade show in the big city far from their small town as part of their high school experience. Lucky kids for sure and they seem grateful for it.

I bought one from wise buys. Looks great in the water. No increase in blow back. I will be running these for awhile. If I think I will need glow I will add it myself.

greens and blues would be nice

I've used them quite a bit, and like everything they are better at certain times and places.

They are a bit clumsy to use, and they don't like the HP Scottys, they work better with the original/regular downriggers.

Big Chinooks like them on slow troll late in the year.
