Roger's Fish Camp - Anyone Been There?

I was talking with a fishing buddy from Vancouver who had a friend of his visit Roger's Fish Camp a week or so ago.

He had brought in a group of about 10 people with full use of the lodge, meals, and fishing. However, it seems that Roger's over-booked a bunch of people who brought their own boats and were being fed dinner at the lodge, pushing my friend's group out to wait for dinner. Roger's offered them free beer & drinks, but were too busy to provide them until the guy and one of the guides raided the the cooler and grabbed two 24-paks of beer and took it to their rooms to split up with the group.

I have always heard good things about Roger's and was wondering if anyone here has had experience with Roger's - good or bad.

I was up there about 2 weeks ago with a group of 21 people. We were a BYOB with 9 boats. Our program included meals with wine and lodging.
With the new cabin he just built he can sleep 50 people.The dinning hall seats about 20. One evening some of our group had to eat their dinner in their room as the dinning hall was full as was all the tables and chairs outside on the deck. With the constrution crew and guides they feed 71. Thats seventy one.
Food was great, the accomadations were good, just too many people for dinning. You be the judge

I have known Doug and Pam for quite a few years now and haved stayed there many a time. It is a good place to stay!

They will go out of their way to make things enjoyable!

Pam was very accommodating. When we were there Doug had a lot on his plate. The new cabin wasn't done and people were waiting for their room. There was a water pressure problem and the plumber brought the wrong parts. This was the first year he had a shaved ice machine and his guides were using way too much ice and there wasen't much left for the BYOB folks. We were there at a bad time. My only concern is with the new cabins, where will every one sit to eat? Especially if its raining.
Sushihunter. We were there July 8th -14th. Is this the time your frient of a friend was there?
