Rod / Reel For Sale

I have a spin casting rod/reel combo for sale. I replaced this a few years ago with a lighter rod and this one has been collecting dust since. Functions very well, looks a bit worn but does not affect function.

Asking $75. In all honestly though, I am not sure what this rod/reel is worth. I can't remember what I paid for it and can't seem to find either the rod or the reel for sale used anywhere to help estimate value. I think I paid around $200 originally, but that is just a guess. Combo is about 10 years old. If anyone seeing this ad has a good idea what I should sell this for, assuming I am way off, please let me know! Not trying to gouge, just want to be fair. If you want it, what's your offer?

May also consider trading (or partial trade, cash in either direction) for other saltwater gear / boat stuff - let me know what you have


Daiwa DWave Rod and Reel.

Rod:
10’, DWG 1002MRS. Medium, Graphite

Reel:
5000-3Bi. Reels nice and smooth. Works great.

Both well used but in good shape. Asking $75 obo


Other Things I might consider a trade/partial trade, for:

- Crab Trap
- Centre Pin Reel (Shimano GT4000, or?)
- Smaller Danforth Anchor w/ rope
- Compass
- Other?

definitely interested! Maybe anchor and a reel depending on conditions etc. (Want to be fair of course). Or just the anchor or just a reel. Whatever makes the trade at least close to equal. Can you share a pic or two of the reel you’d be able to trade?

I am in Comox and don’t mind driving up.
