Roche Lake - End of August

Thinking about a trip to Roche for a few days in the last two weeks of August.

Good idea?

I think Roche lake is always a good idea. Might not be the best time of year, but I've been there in August and done well - if I can, pretty much anyone can.

It will only be for 2 days of fishing so as long as their is some hope, I'm good.

We just got back from couple of days there, fishing was horrible
Im new to lake fishing and that's the main reason im sure although season
Fishermen were getting skunked.I was told the wether had been real bad
The water clarity was bad
