Rigging a Hoochie With a Swivel

So, for better or worse, I've decided to build my own hoochie rigs this year. Pretty simple, really, the egg loop was a piece of cake to get the hook on, and then a bead and the regular hoochie, and there, nice little rig.

But how the heck do you rig the hooches that have the swivel built in. Try as I might, I can't seem to find directions online, and you guys seem to be the most knowledgeable of the forums I've trolled...(pun intended).

So please, help a noob, and tell me how to rig this ruddy thing.

Just pinch the eye when its on the back of the swivel

Groovy, that's simple enough. I also heard that after you get the hook on, you can add the completed hoochie to a spoon.

Does anyone know if the sockeye will go after a spoon, (and what pattern), or should I just stick with hoochies?

Yes you can. Go to You Tube and search rigging spoons ? and you will be able to view several clips on how to convert spoons like the kingfisher, coyote, and coho killer with mini hoochies, Make sure you invest in the highest quality split rings as the lesser quality rings will not hod up to bigger fish. I have changed several spoons to see how they will work. You can also buy the spoons already pre rigged with the hoochies already attached.

siwash, 6 bead chain, two beads or gummy head

This works for me. A hook beyond the attractor has helped considerably. I can only think of one fish in the last year that I lost and it was because the hook wasn't sharp, actually it was this very lure. I assure you it is sharp now.
