Ok,
So the wife and I have been talking for quite some time now and have decided that we would like to look at buying a fishing lodge/resort and "retire". We are actually taking off next week to do some scouting near Port Hardy/Port McNeill way.

Anything out there for sale that anyone knows about that isn't listed?

If you guys had your choice, would you look at north east Vancouver Island or in around the Bamfield area?

Why in the world would you retire, then go back to work? You need to play, play and play some more. Life's too short. Have you thought about curising up the inside passage? I'll never go back to work.

Duval Point is certainly on our list. This isn't going to be a typical seasonal thing for us. We plan on being on site year round and making it our home and running the operation pretty much year round. Of course our buddies are all excited cause then they can come fishing during the off season for next to nothing! That's why we were looking more towards the inside - nicer weather year round, can actually get out for some winter fishing.
