What a refreshing break from Sooke...6 hali, 6 springs, 6 coho and a bucket of black bass by early afternoon yesterday. Fished near the bank in some of the calmest weather I've seen up there. Springs were up to 20lbs for us and another boat came in with 6 springs up to 30lbs (along with their limit of butts). Total blast. Heard the beach was a little slow.
