removing fish blood with a hose

I was told about a trick to remove all the blood from a salmon using water pressure from a hose and a small cut somewhere on the fish.I have never seen it done, and is the first time i have heard of this .Could anyone please explain what i have heard ? thanks in advance.
 
Start by cutting through throat to allow major blood vessels to be opened. Then cut through wrist just ahead of tail and half way through spine, high pressure hose from there through venous system and heart through to cut at bottom of throat will empty all blood from fish, or at least that is what they say. I prefer to cut gills as soon as dispatched and let it bleed into scuppers and over the side, then on to ice as soon as possible. Never had an issue with blood in system and I usually vacuum seal my salmon and eat it up to a year after freezing. Stays in excellent condition.
 
Pretty simple really-have done it and all credit to fish assassin who showed me how to do it. He took the tail off but if you just cut through to the spine at the tail I think it will work. Take the head off as usual t-then insert the hose right where you took off the head into the blood vessels that run right under the spine. Quite amazing really -all the blood that is along the rib cage and under the spine just pisses out of the cut at the tail. Cleaner than any bleed job I've ever seen
 
you can actually run your hand down the fish with a bit of weight and this will help push the blood out of the body and into the spinal column where the water pressure blows it out. works great.

Quite amazing really , watched fish assassin do this last year, lop off head & tail then hold the hose just above the fish spine ...all the blood will **** out the tale until it turns to clean water... Then all the blood is virtually removed from the fish...Warning... This is alot harder then it looks...i remember driving down island covered in fish blood n garden hose...

Virtually the same deal but on a big salmon rather then have it come back around it shoots out the spine at the cut off tail... Was told my smoked salmon tastes better without the smoked blood [emoji12]

thankyou .all make sence now.I thaught method removed the kidney blood as i called it before asking .Would it be wise to remove the kidney before aplying water pressure from a tube to spine area?The tail cut past the spine was how the bleeding came out of the salmon.I have to see this done
