Basically a one off, have seen a couple titanium ones done (a two off?). Work of frigging art. Backside is solid with machined out aboriginal style killer whale and name. Incredible workmanship.
The first 2 pics are from a 4.25 narrow arbour centrepin built by Norm MacDonald, never used and only one made. It has a 3 way clicker for casting.
The last 2 pics are from a 4.25 narrow arbour "The Talisman" centrepin built by John Milner, used on special steelhead derby's only. I was bugging John to make me one for a couple of years. This reel was sent back to him by a local shop in Campbell River after years of being not sold. He called me and I bought it.
Wow nice reels Hurt.. Some serious coin there !! I don't think I've seen a nicer Macdonald than yours.. Sweet. Are they bushing or bearing and which do you prefer ?

Thanks, the MacDonald is bearing, the Milner is bushing. I prefer bushing. So many times I've had a bearing screw up on the river with a bit of sand or grit. Bushing you can literally take apart on the river dip in water and oil and your back to fishing.
Here are some more from the collection. First is another Norm MacDonald but a 4 inch with a regular arbour and a 2 way clicker. Second is a 4 inch Milner Talisman II that I had custom made with the clear handles and clicker. MacDonald is another bearing and the Milner is a bushing.
