Rec, Property ?

Ok throwing this out there ! Should be interesting response?
Looking for water front Lake,Ocean ,River 1-3 hours from Nanaimo/Central island ? or boat ride
Bare land to put camper or small cabin on or has cabin on it ?
Price under $200k hopefully way under
Must not be croweded with other dwellings /Private
What do you know . Thanks

Salmon Beach uncrowded, now that's funny stuff!! Gotta be close to 1000 postage stamp lots on a few acres of land. Access to beautiful Barkley Sound and the fishing banks off of Ukee, absolutely, but uncrowded it is not.

There are lots on Lyall Point, in Barkley Sound, for sale: 8.5 and 11 acres each and listed for under $100K each. Boat access only but there is a landing area and road infrastructure so you could barge a trailer out there. Would be very private and you have all of Barkley Sound as your fishing/ocean adventure playground. Good fishing right at Lyall Pt itself and Swale Rock is only about a 5km run. From Nanaimo, short drive to Port Alberni to launch your boat then probably an hour and a half by boat to Lyall Point.

Ukee

Yeah,

I almost fell out of my chair when I read that lol. Salmon beach is approximately 325 lots and all city size 60' x 120' or 60' x 180'. It is crowded. Spring, Fall, and Winter are nice and quiet but summertime is noisy.

X2 for the Lyall Point option. Access is an issue (barge everything in) but the price is really good for ocean front. I know a guy with a lot over there and he say's it is very private (that's why he bought).

Here are some websites to look at Lifetimer 18 ( if you haven't already).
