This may be dangerous for my pocket book, but I’m a sucker for a good deal and love to share them with like minded folks. Please feel free to suggest any title revisions if you’ve got a better idea. Don’t really want to see the 10% ‘discount’ deals, thinking greater then 25 or 30% is a decent starting point?

I’ll start with - Shimano Tekota 601hg reel reg $329 on sale for $230 at Canadian tire. This is the cheapest I’ve ever seen a Tekota, decent mid sized level wind. This deal was specific to Kamloops’s store, not sure of at other locations. Full price listed on their website. I bought the 500hg lc for $240.

Haha strong arm on the rod and reeling left is the best way when it works… I bought the right hand 500 line counter for $240 as wanted the line counter (though would have took a left LC if they had one).

I just fell down my back steps wearing my old ones. They aren’t the world’s best boot but for the price they are hard to beat.

I have a set of Viberg made in Victoria too.
