Radiant makes 4" spoons and also makes hoochies........do you use either? If so, which ones are your "Killers" for Van Isle? I think the J-79 hoochy is used around Victoria quite a bit. I know people that have used the Radiant "Peanut Butter" with good success. ........also the Radiant "Witch Doctor" used to be good.....

I have always used Radiant Hoochies, they are very well made. My faves are Glow Uv Alligator, Tiger Prawn and Army truck. They also have 6" extra longs in most patterns which I have had great success with.;) eman http://shop.radiantlures.ca/

I have extra long mint julip radiants, what do recommend for leader length. Thinking of trying some today if the wind stays down.

That is an awesome hootchie. I have been using it for years and has always seemed to come through for bigger fish as well as some of those smaller flatties on the banks. I typically run them on a 42" leader behind a betsy. Worked for me so far.

I think that's Radiant's version of what is known in other brands as a "U/V Jellyfish".........it can be deadly at times.
