Radar help requested

here are the steps i go through to bring the radar on line:

- brief depress on power button to switch to radar option
- TX and Standby; grayed out waiting for magnatometer to heat up
- after about 2 minutes, my boat is currently in an enclosed space at 45F, TX and Standby become available and defaults to Standby.
- Scanner is toggled to ON

thats all there is too it on my boat.

now the RADAR OPTIONS menu:

GAIN
- Sea - OSH
- Gain - AUTO
- Tune - AUTO
- FTC - OFF
- Rain - OFF

ENHANCE ECHOS
- Int Reject - ON
- Expansion - OFF

Thanks for all the input reelfast. I pretty much do the same thing, but when I hit the power button to go to select tx or stand by the backlight icon bar shows up as well I can still select TX but have to press ok to clear the back light icon. I have the Sea set to hbr but have tried all the settings but maybe need to wait a bit longer on each switch. Thanks again , I will let you know what the out come is.

yes, the back light icon also comes up but you can ignore that while you wait until the TX is available.
