PSF Virtual Gala - Oct. 22, 2020

Just wanted to make everyone aware that with COVID-19 restrictions in place PSF will not be hosting any of the usual in-person fundraising galas/dinners around BC for the remainder of 2020. However, we have decided to go forward with a virtual gala on October 22nd, 2020 and hope everyone will be able to join us for the 45 minute webcast. A couple of notes about the PSF Virtual Gala (www.psfvirtualgala.com):

1) It's free! While most PSF dinners have a ticket price we've decided to make the virtual gala complementary so that there's no financial obstacle for anyone to attend. Of course we'll take donations if you're in a position to do so but this is voluntary.

2) There will be an online auction with lots of great donated items. Huge thanks to all who continue to donate items and sponsor the event with everything going on in the world these days. The auction will open a week prior to the event so you can log-in and bid starting on Oct. 15th.

3) You can register now at www.psfvirtualgala.com and be entered to win the 'early bird draw' prize of an Okanagan Getaway for Two People at Tinhorn Creek Vineyard.

Like most charities, PSF is feeling the impact of COVID-19. Because we are unable to host our in-person fundraising galas and community dinners, your support is more important now than ever. Your generosity will help enable streamkeeping volunteers, citizen scientists, and communities across BC to continue to persevere for salmon and their ecosystems. You may have heard our announcement in May, 2020 that we were able to provide $1.2M to support 117 different salmon conservation projects/partners (see link below). With our Fall, 2020 funding round coming up soon we are relying on your support to ensure as many good salmon projects get funded as possible. We will undoubtedly have more funding requests this Fall than we are able to support with grants but with your help we hope to support the vast majority of them. Thanks for your support!
