I do think a large portion of fisherman also hunt, a threat to resident hunting tag allocations is developing. I hope the hunters on SFBC have signed the petition trying to stop the new allocation of hunted species tags for users in BC. Seams the GOABC is asking for a raise in tag allocations, from 6% up to 40% of available tags for some species (moose and elk) in some areas. If made law resident odds will be reduced or non-existent and hunting opportunities will be reduced for all residents. I urge all to read, research and sign to try and stop this proposal, Hunting BC Forum has lots of reading on subject. Sorry link does not work.
