intresting to see this on alot of them now allowing barbed hooks

Consistent with regional direction to move from single barbless hooks to single hooks on small, stocked lakes.

Please take the time to read proposed regulation changes to many lakes and submit feedback before it's too late.

There's a lot of proposed changes that make zero sense with a lot of well known lakes that were barbless being changed to allow barbs which in the end increases mortality rate. A number of lakes with proposed changes to allow ice fishing too which would considerably lower overall size of fish.

That makes zero sense at all considering the volume of fish and number of lakes that are stocked year after year and have been for decades especially in trophy type lakes.

Studies out of Washington state actually showed switching to barbs reduces mortality as fish don’t get played out then get off and fishermen spend less time on water. Get fish and get off water.
