Hi I am busy working on a project boat which I am led to believe is 19 ft Hourston and has the name Sea Dog on it, and was wondering if anybody out there knows anything about it.
Thanks
Mike

A few pictures of the boat might help. I do remember seeing one for sale with that name not to long ago did you just get it?

yes about a month ago , will post pic tomorrow
Is this the boat that has been sitting in a backyard off of an alley in Oak Bay ???
If so I fished off of the Sea Dog a few years ago with the previous owner.

Hourston did not build a 19 so it will be an 18 or a 20 both are great hulls pics will help
I will take better pics tomorrow and yes I think it is the boat that was oak bay near the airport and would like info if possible

Almost looks like it could be a 20’ hourston but I’m not 100% sure it is the 18s and smaller of that vintage have more of a curl towards the stern like my 17’ my here.

Any idea of the age? It doesn’t look like a newer hull the top and rub rail are different bow flare looks similar hard to say from just those pictures I’d guess it’s a very early 20’ if it is a Hourston hull.

Definitely agree with ya buddy.

Don't think it's a hourston if it's a 20 dosnt appear to check any of the boxes off
But good looking hull to start with.

Side vents make me think it may be a sangster. Great project none the less and nice hull. Will follow along as your project progresses

One of the members here think his use name is Brett something has one that looks exactly like yours with a hard top
