Has anyone ever tried prawning in the Sooke or Beecher Bay area?

The tides are too strong unless you anchor your traps and have a strong puller.
Make sure there's lots of rope ,with 10' tides in the winter lot's of potential
for gear loss.
p.s prawning closes end of December until April 01
