Prawning out of FC

How is the prawning right now ? Any good areas to prawn out of FC, places to avoid ? What is everybody using for bait, pellets an canned cat food mix, just pellets, or something else ? Thanks

Prawning has been spotty. It is still trying to recover after the commercial opening. Try the usual spots, 200-300' on shelves. Most guys are still using pellets and Carlisle cat food. Good Luck.

Its been a couple years, but directly off French Creek is pretty flat slope. Trick there is to go DEEP... 400-450'. I carry 600' rope. It is early in season but few should be around. Usual mix is good and I add Alaska Fish fertilizer to the mix... Good Luck
