Prawning in Saanich Inlet

I think he reported a skunk! No positive reports that I have heard. Might need to give it awhile.

Tried a couple of sets off Wain Rock area and got a handful.Pretty poor results, probably the worst I've seen. On a positive note,lots of coho jumping.

Weird, last 14 years it has been awesome this time of year, I may try another spot today,

The commercial boys hit the inlet hard this year. Never seen so many this, i think we are feeling the results still.

I'm sure the commercial fishery had an adverse effect, but I fished them in the Sept opening, after the commercial fishery and did pretty well. I'm wondering if I need to experiment with depth, maybe they've gone shallower or deeper. I agree though I have never pulled so many empty pots.
