Prawning in Prince Rupert

Can anyone give me any advise on areas to prawn around PR. I will be there for 10 days and would love some fresh prawns. If you don't want to post it on the site please email me at gsoroka@shaw.ca. I would be more then willing to exchange some favorite hali holes. Have fished PR and QCI for twenty years.

I looked on the Charts thinking I had heard Tuck Inlet maybe for Prawns. It looks like you would be hard pressed to find more than 200 ft of water in Tuck, but it may be worth asking about. I do remember seeing Prawn Traps in Work Channel and the entrance around Quottoon Inlet seems to be an ideal depth of around 300 feet. We never prawned in Work Channel when we fished out of there, but I do remember seeing a barge with a running a generator to power a freezer or two I beleive around Quottoon years ago.
