I'd have to get a REALLY good deal before I'd buy a "used" electric prawn puller. Because they are small electric motors under a lot of load I'd put it in the same category as buying used power tools.... usually not worth the savings....
Used hydraulic puller no problem.... used electric??? Personally I'd build one first(lot's of posts on how) or buy a new one with a warrenty as a Plan B. Not cheap either way but I always kick myself when I put $150-$250 into something looking for a deal and it lasts a few weeks then dies and then your back to buying the new one already down a bunch of $$$.
