Green only is that a secret?

Mine are all white or orange. Catch lots of prawns in them what is so special about these ones?

I've found the purple nylon netting works best for me for prawns. Tie off one end, fill, tie off the other end and voila.

Speaking of prawning what is the preffered method to store all that rope? I sometimes fish 12 traps so that is 6 300-400ft lines of wet rope to bring home. What I have done is load some into buckets, some into a large garbage can (can fit 4 ropes in it) and one in the top of the last prawn trap to be stacked.

The problem is all this gets stored in an un heated garage and weeks later the rope sitting at the bottom of the buckets is still wet even with drain holes in the buckets. Should I not worry about it? Try to convince the wife to let me bring em inside of a few days or try to somehow lay them out in the sun without creating a huge tangle?

I do have drain holes in the buckets but in the winter the ropes still don't dry and I am guessing it is not good to let them sit wet for long periods of time.

Modern rope should be fine wet unless there is enough goo on it to attract nibbling mice/ rats. Sun would be worse.
