I pull two commercial traps in the current from 400 ft. and more.

Was this that made me think of offering you my puller.....

Not 4 people's limits on gear twice a day. That's 16 traps twice a day. Thanks for not using my gear to do that

I have a 5 hp briggs and stratton with a 6-1 gear reduction-warping head on the end. Never stalls!!- A 4 hp honda with some kind of gear reduction would work. By the way they use this gear to haul bituman up to roofs in vancouver on commercial roofing jobs-good place to look -I paid 400 for mine 10 years ago-new

Thanks spring fever good suggestion I will look into it. I could probably rig something up that would use the king fusion puller pulleys with the gas engine below, would still have the electric back-up as well

That might work but the important thing is the reduction gear. The shaft turns too quickly straight out of the engine.
