No doubt I will take some flak for this, but Creep Catchers is a sloppy mess. If they would limit themselves to finding online creeps and then hand over the dialogue data to police I'd mostly be OK with it. But they can't resist the drama/ego trip of the big videotaped confrontation and the subsequent naming and shaming. I have little doubt that smart lawyers will get some of these creeps off the hook because of the publicity, naming and/or incomplete evidence chain. I too find these guys distasteful, but if you're going to go looking for them then you have to do the job properly. By all means do the research, but then hand it over to the professionals to apprehend and prosecute. As well, the police will also have some guidelines so as not to trip over the line into palin old entrapment.
