portable marine stereo?

hey guys im just wondering if any of you guy know how or any ideas on how to put together a portable marine stereo including speakers amp, and the cd part. please drop some comments down below thank you. im wanting to start on this project so i wont have to permanently mount something into my boat and o i have good quality music when im out fishing aha.

I think you are asking a lot for a 'portable stereo' that includes an amplifier and subwoofer...Assuming this is for your 14' Lund you talk about I can understand why a permanent stereo would be difficult to install. If it was me I would just buy a cheap boombox that takes D batteries. They are pretty small these days and sound good enough...cheap and they have a handle so they are portable too!

Anything wrong with a smartphone/ipod and headphones? You can turn it up as loud as you want w/o annoying your fishing neighbours.
 
If you own an Ipod/Iphone,I'd suggest getting a "Goal Zero Rock Out Speaker" from Future Shop. They're rechargable
and sound not bad for their size. Only $40.00 too!
