Are you thinking about Fishing Esperanza Inlet this summer? There is still time to book something in one of the best fishing areas on the coast! We have some limited availability for 2023 at Port Eliza Lodge for Bring your own boat packages! All packages include double occupancy accommodations, all meals and soft drinks and moorage for your boat. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol too. Port Eliza Lodge is located near the mouth of Esperanza inlet. close to the fishing grounds. Eliminate the runs from Tahsis or Zeballos to fish Esperanza, stay at Port Eliza Lodge.

Available amenities for Guests
- Flake and cube ice machines ( no charge)
- Unlimited free wifi through Starlink
- Fuel available for sale - no need to head back to Zeballos, The Bible camp or Tahsis for fuel.
- We are a licensed sport fish processor, so can take your fillets, cut them into pieces, vacuum pack in commercial machines, label and freeze them on site for a reasonable fee. No keeping, tails fins or entire fillets necessary!
- Home cooked meals, hot breakfasts, Lunches packed for the boat, hearty dinners are part of the package.

Packages are $235 CAD per night per person. Book as many or few nights as you like.

An update on availability, I still have August 7-11 available

The countdown has begun for real! Two weeks from today we will be returning to @Port Eliza Fishing Lodge for the latest iteration of Sam's Salmon Spectacular in honour of my late brother that organized many friends and family fishing adventures over the years. It started with a couple of fly in trips to remote spots in northern Manitoba, our original roots, and morphed to the west coast with the first Salmon Spectacular in 1983 at the original Painters Lodge in Campbell River. The years have come and gone far too quickly, but we have marked them from time to time with many memorable moments spent all over the Province of BC. I am honoured and proud to continue the tradition he started all those years ago with our second visit to Port Eliza in the last 3 years. Robert and his crew at the lodge did a fantastic job of hosting our group of 30 coming out of Covid in 2021 and we look forward to enjoying their hospitality again this year along with some great fishing, relaxation and re-connecting with all our friends and family. Our group will range in age from 17 to 85 as we introduce some of the next generation to the experience of fishing the west coast while the older generation gets to enjoy it all over again!
Of course we have also accrued a fairly large collection of photos from these trips. Here are just a few from our 2021 trip.
