Poachers

These poachers had a spray painted unmarked buoy, FOUR traps on one string and the bottom trap was a crab trap. They set their garbage right on top of my two trap string off of passage island so our floats were 6 feet apart. It took me 45 min to raise up 6 traps nearly burning out my Brutus ace line hauler in the process.

If I see these traps again around passage, they won’t be seen again.

just fish by your traps gone are the days of benefit of the doubt and common curtesy. just too many boats and hostile areas. I cant afford to lose a trap.

I'll tell you he's a solid guy and is posting under his real name. Recently met him in Rivers and he went waaay out of his way to rescue us when we were dead in the water. Keep hauling that crap out of there man. That's ********
