i just got back form port alberni and there are many fish in the inlet around china creek and the second mill around the corner from china creek... they are expecting more as the week goes on... i only went for one day and only got two but everyone else was getting 2-6 fish... the largest catch that day was 37 lbs in the inlet, but i heard a 43 lbs'er was caught at kirby point the day before.... fish should get much better in the inlet as the week goes on...

Thanks waddy: Appreciate the report and good for you. Two's better then none. I guess no one else is fishing the inlet. Or they could be lying in the brush for the derby?
