I know theres comparison charts and so on but would like to see if there is anyone who can verify the difference in fuel economy between the two? i know what my GPH are and at cruising rpm 3800 with twins on a 30' i get 25. doesnt include the oil which can get pricey. These motors i have are strong with 600 hrs. and i really want 4 strokers but dont think i can justify it unless there is a huge cost savings? thoughts? maybe someone made the change and can verify first hand. thx

You can buy a lot of oil with the money of 4 strokes bud. 4 strokes need oil changes, oil filters, and love just like 2 strokes. Run 'em until you blow 'em up. You'll have a hard time getting decent money for them. 250 OX66 are great engines. Just buy a drum of synthetic amsol and you're laughing. Yes, you may pay a bit more to run them, but a chunk o' change invested in the stock market can easily double your money.
