Does anyone have any experience with ordering a lithium battery plus charger online from Amazon? I would use it for a car topper and electric trolling motor. Online models such as Eco Worthy or so are much cheaper than store models at HC or Trotac for instance. It is a big risk or even NoNo to buy such stuff online?

I have two redodo batteries in my travel trailer and haven’t had any issues. Price wasn’t much more than a lead battery. I’m not scared of Amazon lithium batteries. Never tried them for a trolling motor only because we have an abundance of deep cycle lead batteries at the lake where we troll

I’m a big fan of the eco-worthy I have two in my camper but a mini wattcycle is a little cheaper and 3lbs lighter and smaller. Will Prose tore some of these apart and was impressed but then again he was initially impressed isn’t battle born, that turn out to have issues. https://amzn.to/4rFhsdG #ad but buying direct off their website may be cheaper.

Noco chargers annd victron are good, I wouldn’t bother buying another brand even if it cheaper.

I would get a Renogy instead from amazon. Eco Worthy is fine (i own two) but their BMS has a bad habit of shutting off.
Admittedly you will pay a little bit more for a renogy but the BMS is far superior. if you dont charge it from an alternator the eco worthy should be fine.
if you can wait 6 months the solid state ones are just trickling in. the solid state 100Ah is the size of a small stack of copier paper - less than 2.5 inches. https://www.amazon.ca/Renogy-Phosphate-Bluetooth-Resistant-Waterproof/dp/B0F1MDT9GS
but prices are still high.

I just got an email from Li Time batteries with a big sale, up to 50% off. Might be worth checking out and signing up for their email updates. I assume these are pretty much the same as my Redodo batteries. If you order on their website, they all ship from a warehouse near the airport in Richmond so might be all coming from the same supplier
