Oooh That Smell! Can’t You Smell That Smell?

Favourite scent for spoons?
X10 seems to be gone for good.
I have smelly jelly herring and haven’t persuaded a bite on it.

I've tried scents with limited success.
This year has been much better for strikes and wee battles using small salted herring slices on the hook.
Now if I can just get the fish in the net.

Personally never used it, feel like it’s another over complicating of something simple . How you fish is more important than what you fish 90% of the time .

In saying that if I’m every low on bait , or have run out I’ve been known to drop whatever lure I’m using in my bait box. Probably doesn’t do anything but what the hell

gimmick in my humble opinion. never used scent in my life. my buddy uses it and it messes up his lures, makes them all sticky and gross. tackle box smells like a saskwatch’s rear end.

im good thanks
Agree
IMHO salmon hit on sight, not smell

20 years ago it was WD-40 that was all the rage...

Lol our guide in WH last month was using it. Haven't seen that in a long time on a charter vessel.

Does anyone have a problem with L-serine on they're hands?
I've started using scent killer soap from princess auto.
Seems to work as I'm up to 17 fish so far this year.
