Anybody tried this new O'ki 11 inch flasher yet?

Looks very good........It's Glow, U/V, Kinetic and combo Green/Blue.......I picked up a couple but haven't got them wet yet......

O'ki "Mystic Green" Kinetic Fire and Ice Glow U/V 11" flasher......

I haven't been buying too many flashers as of late because Green Haze, Super Gold Betsy, and Green/White Glow have usually been doing the job......

But I looked at this one and I thought to myself....."it incorporates just about everything I had in my mind's eye that constitutes a hot flasher...."

They'll be first into the salt on my next trip...........

when would you pick uv over glow or vice versa?

has anyone took notice if bigger fish get spooked by uv more or dosnt matter? or the early morning shallower fish dont like as much...?

ive been watching my flasher colors just before they break the surface when bringing up a rod to check and the colors sure differ. my clear crush uv sure looks yellow. but again who knows what this looks like deep down and to fish!

UV works early morning, late evening or down deep.

Glow works deep or whenever it's overcast etc.

This particular flasher has:-

GLOW
UV

and Green/Blue are two colors that show up well throughout the water column to depths of over 200 ft.

Flashers will sometimes spook fish....no matter WHAT color they are.........

For huge fish I know guys that don't use flashers....they just tow a big herring by itself and that's it........

I have found that some flashers work way better than others for attracting fish.

One being the Super Gold Betsy.

I have fished certain tackle with several flashers and don't get hits.
I then put the identical tackle behind a Super Gold Betsy....and I start getting fish.

After about 6pm I switch to flashers that have more Glow on them. Once the sun starts hitting the water at a steep angle the light down below falls off pretty quick at depth, even though up top it looks fairly sunny out still.

Mirror U/V finishes tend to reflect several colors to the human eye depending on which way the flasher angle is reflecting the light (like when you have it just about at the surface)......I wouldn't lose any sleep over that........:)

There are "quiet" flashers....and there are "aggressive" flashers (in terms of finish and colors etc)...........up shallow you might not need to go with an "agressive" flasher" so much.......(one that has eye-blinding color combos with a flash that looks like a nuclear explosion....:)).......on the other hand , down deep there isn't much reflective light, so you you might need to go with something stronger in "attitude"........

If it's a dark day you might need more flash/color
If its' really sunny maybe not so much.

Green haze, Purple Haze, Glow Army Truck, Super Gold Betsy, Boogieman, Green/Glow......these flashers seem to work everywhere consistently......

That flasher was red hot on the inside of Nootka for the first few days of my trip then went dead. I had to switch to purple glow to get back on track for the end of the trip.

O'ki "Mystic Green" Kinetic Fire and Ice Glow U/V 11" flasher......

I picked up a couple of those 3 weeks ago when I was in the lower mainland. I have been using in the Powell River area. They have been awesome, later in the night and down around 110 to 135 feet. Look really good in the water in front of a green and glow hoochie.

I bought a super gold Betsy by accident while trying to pickup a plain gold Betsy I wasn't feeling it so I pulled of the reflective tape off the side and lo and behold it was silver underneath two flashers in one I always have one of these down.
