North Island/Woss

Hi guys. I am moving back to Campbell River, and I want to expand my trout-fishing horizons -Buttle Lake it my only spot right now. A bit of internet research suggests that the Woss area is a destination worth investigating. Has anyone from that area got any pointers? I am hoping to get a couple good trout trips in before I switch over to salmon for the summer. By all means, PM me if you don't want the world to know a piece of info that you don't mind sharing with me. Thanks.

This time of year Upper Campbell as well as Buttle can be hot for big trout. Either troll or cast from shore with a small green crocodile spoon. They are feeding on sticklebacks so the take is very light. If you flyfish, try a small streamer in some of the bays.
