I'm new to this site and just wanted to say Hi!

My name is Rob (aka Pogue). I have been fishing for as long as I can remember, starting out with fishing for trout in the local lakes and rivers. I quit fishing for trout after I caught my first salmon, but have been recently looking at getting back into it during the off seasons - if I can find the time. Most of my fishing is done in the Puget Sound from Seattle to the San Juans, I have only fished BC a couple times and had a blast (can't wait to get back)!

This is a great site, and I look forward to being part of it!

Rob

Hi I am new as well

My name is Chris based in Comox and Port Alice. I didn't get started fishing until 2 years ago and got hooked straight away. Since then my wife and a friend got into it last year as well.

It all started with casting for coho from the beach and few boat trips to buying a boat and waders. The most fun we have had so far was in the campbell catching pinks for dog food. What a blast. Hope to learn more and catch many more fish.

Chris and Christy.

Welcome all new members, lot's of great info on this forum.
Just ignore the mudslinging and it usually goes away.

Welcome aboard guys and gals. Always great to have new members. I agree with Craven on the mud slinging, but don't be afraid to speak your mind on issues here. I've had support for a lot of things I've said that I thought would get me kicked off the site. Great bunch of people here who are always willing to help, share knowledge, and support new members however they can.

Welcome and good luck on the water!

Holmes whats your Rib recipe??
Now that's a good question.:p

Welcome to the forum people, there is a lot of good people on here and it is a great source of info for fishing and well, many other things also. There is a lot of people that are willing to help out with info and advice, just ask and someone is likely to respond.

I can't wait to hear if Holmes shares his famous Rib Recipe ;).

Holmes whats your Rib recipe??

Take one pig-- kill it, rip its ribs out. Age the ribs in a vat of honey and balsamic vinegar for two weeks in the hot sun, throw in two kilos of the hottest chilies you can find , and then have a 20 year old virgin (has to be a female) bless the ribs before searing them in 900 degree temps on the bar-be for 30 secs. Wash down with any thing BUT Lucky!!!

So Holmes--- how did I do???

Ditto on the 'Welcome' to the newbies! As this forum grows, so does our voice.

I have only one question for you new members: Are you Hawks' or Nucks' fans?

Hi Rob-Welcome!

Carl in Vancouver (long time denizen here).

Denizen may refer to:

Free Negro, a non-slave black person in the United States, prior to the abolition of slavery... lol
