New to costal fishing

I’m fairly new to coastal fishing I will have my boat in comox area. Would love to swap tips over a beer or take a local out for some guidance.

I'm surprised nobody has responded to your post. There are lots of people on here from the Comox area. I am in Nanaimo so not much help.

I have my boat at Comox Valley Marina. We fish Denman/Hornby, Kitty Coleman and the green can (off Quadra) areas. Fishing for springs is down 200 - 230 feet so good riggers are a must. The typical spoons and plugs are often used. Check back on the old threads for this area - lots of great info.

Sorry that I can't get out right now but just too much work on the go.

I’m kinda local, possibly get out for some before work fishing for the morning bite. Are you an early riser? What boat do you have and do you have 15lb cannonballs.
