New Reel coming from wise buys?

Was in at wise buys on my way home from work to check out some single action reels (amundson and trophy) and after talkng with the guys there they said that they are making there own reel and its due to come out soon. Sounded pretty interesting as they explained that they took the pros and cons from all the reels on the market and are putting it all together in one reel. Wasnt sure if anyone had anymore info on this? Either way im on the market for a couple of new reels and am looking forward to seeing more options coming to the market,

Just so everyone knows im not offiliated with these guys at all nor am i advertising, just wanted to pass on that something new is coming to the market and could be interesting. Im also looking forward to seeing the new amundson reels coming out in the spring....hopfully they will be on display at the boat show at the end of the month.

I was in there a few weeks back and saw a drawing of the reel they are making. I spent some time talking to the guy there too. This reel sounded 'reely' good!! I was thinking of buying a trophy, as I don't have the cash for an islander. He told me they were gonna be priced in the 299 range. So I decided to wait till they are ready and check them out. If I like them, I'm gonna buy one.

Yah it did sound "reely" interesting!!!, im going to wait until they start stocking them in store, i need to feel the reel in my hands before i commit that kind of money, either way, i like seeing more options on the market, especially in that price range

They said that there will be a lifetime warranty and a $5 charge for service that will be done on sight. So basically they will have all parts on hand. Walk in and walk out. My fishin buds use trophys but im very happy with my 2000 gt's. I do like the warranty and service though. Should I need a new reel this season, I will be getting one for sure.

The wise buys guys have been saying "next month it will be in" since last august. I sure hope they do get it in eventually but I gave up and went islander Pretty happy with the MR3 so far. I do really like the feel of the forged fly reels and I'm sure if it ever happens it will be very nice, and made locally.
