Saw similar version in Tofino this summer when PM was there, RCMP detail. Close to 40’ with what looked to be 3x400hp seapros (hard to say hp as blacked out). Quite the machine.

They had an heck of a time docking in the current which was quite entertaining to viewers. Almost crashed into the Harbour Air float plane multiple times.

Apparently there to hang out off Chesterman when PM was on the beach to protect against threats from the ocean, and a water exit in case plane or highway not an option…Maybe been watching too many movies…

The Navy has had those exact boats ripping around the south island for a couple years. See them all the time on the Victoria waterfront.
