Unless you buy a new Platinum+ chip (approx. $350) the only way you can get the higher detail, user supplied, bathymetry is to buy the Navionics Plus chip (approx. $200) which will allow you to download customized mapping for 1 year of all of Canada at the Gold chip level quality (i.e. no 3D mapping, satellite and photo overlays, etc.). Not sure if the Navionics + chip will work on your unit, you will need to check their website.
Another alternative is to download the mobile app on to your smart phone or tablet and you can get it all for a fraction of the price.
