was taking the ferry back from our very sucessful sturgeon outing on sunday morning and over by 5 fingers and hudson rocks i saw about 10-15 boats fishin... any news on what the catch/target was and the results?

I saw those boats too, and most looked like commercial boats. I checked DFO site but couldn't find anything for the area. I'm wondering, just like you.

I put in at neck point on Sunday and was fishin just inside the commercial boats. They were gill netting, chum I'm guessing. I spent acouple hours out there as the sun came out and the sea was flat but there wasn't much showing on the finder.

I went out to thrasher rock on sat no wind .lots on the sounder but no bites I guess it was all feed .seen some people in the distance fishing at entrance. Did anybody have any luck in area ?

nailed the prawns on sat, trolled in between the set and had no action and saw nothing as well.
