My head hurts....

just delete the channels from the TV's memory-problem solved!!:D
you can always program them back in, but by that time they've gone back to the other set

Don't fall for it BGM... Don't go towards the light.... please :D

I'm with Finished Business on that. I had free cable for about 10 years (house used to be a rental before my divorce---some Gal who rented from me was a principal in a cable company and wired the house for "permanent" cable)

About a year ago the party ended and I lost not only cable but local networks also. I went out and bought a new flatscreen and started sifting through cable contracts, thinking I'd do things right. But it was such a PITA talking to the companies and trying to decide what package to get I finally ended up saying the hell with it and went cold turkey.

After a few months, I realized I was reading books more, practicing guitar more, talking to my daughters more...

I finally decided what a huge waste of time TV was. That was a year ago and I never looked back. I regret missing the Olympics and a Stanley Cup but that's about it

Of course when my daughters come to stay with me they give me stinkeye 'cause they can't watch Glee any more....

I just watched an episode of Survivor with my wife, I never watch this crap. I thought the whole time... ****, these losers can't cut it one night on a beach in the tropics. Two nights at Osama's house in Bamfield will kill any of these mofo's. ;) Imagine 39 days. :(

Far too many commercials on t.v. As soon as the commercials come up, I'm off and surfing channels to see what's going on elsewhere.

The people that make commercials are retarded. They've used the same formula for 50 years or more.

I've never bought a single thing that was influenced by a t.v. commercial.

As a matter of fact, the stupider the commercial I will make a mental note NOT to buy that product .

The show "Survivor" is ********. I watched the original episodes....until they started bringing back former contestants and then grooming them for their own reality show spinoffs (like Boston Rob...biggest as*h*le they ever had on that show and he gets multiple chances at the big prize......that's when I quit watching it).

They should make a reality show called :- "The Real S*itheads Of Television" and then put the people that make commercials on it.

Most "reality" shows are scripted and fake. A clever way to produce a show without having to pay out money for better actors.

CTV is the worst offender for running those annoying little "popups" in the lower corner of the screen while you are watching a show. Hey CTV brass!.....I don't care what the next show coming up is......I have a T.V. guide and I'll make my own choices, thank you very much....

News shows are personality driven. They want you to "trust" an anchor that is sitting there delivering "fluff' and filtered biased news that focusses on the 'money shot'.
The money shot is anybody that busts into tears while talking about something.

And what makes them think I want to sit there for an hour listening to reports I can get far faster, earlier on the Internet anyway?

Word for word, what I would have said myself. I just shake my head at all the stupid crap that is flung at us just to make ratings. What happened to intelligent programming?
Jeez gone like the dino's.
