Monster Chum

Here is a photograph of a chum sampled from the July30/31, 2012 seine fishery in Area 8. The fish weighed 16.38 kg or 36.11 lbs and measured 999 mm or 39 11⁄32in (nose or to fork length).
A quick literature review indicates this fish in definitely in the top 99 percentile of size for the species.

wow that is something !! i'd like that on any rod some chum are nuts on the gear !!seems like some just swim right to the boat ?? just like springs i guess you get the odd one that comes in easy
