Monsoon ?

I even ran out to Sooke early this morning to make sure my pumps were working. Figured I better make sure the dock lines are set properly for some wind tonight as well. I hope the winds tonight are less than they are calling for.

Just got back from pulling our boat out at Cheanuh--2 or 3 boats were going under beside the wharf--get out and check your boats cause there's more coming.

Yesterday AM in Bamtown was incredible just sheets/curtains of soaking rain-and the wind hadn't started yet....

just checked out mine, amazing how much water collected in 24 hours. If you're sitting wondering if your boat is full of water, it is! Go pump it out guys.

That's why my next boat (that I will build) will be self bailing. Tends itself when moored.
Good luck with that-that's only the dance floor-if you don't think things go under that when you have a monsoon-then you are in for a shock!!! It helps-but I'd still have some super bilge pumps.!! LOL

Mine is self bailing but some still weeps under the hatches into the bilge. I still don't completely trust float switches and sleep better after I check it in person.

Checked out mine today. Saw a few boats under at the docks. A few fuel tanks floating around. Checked on SammySlabbers boat. Its fine! :)

-Cheers all and keep your boat afloat!

I'll bet there will be a boat or two up on the beach tonight over on Beach Dr. over by O.B. Marina
