It was just a rib,,, I have no knowlage of these engines....

I have 1,100 hours on a 2005 115 Opti with no problems that have cost me more than $100. Have been very pleased with it, especially the smart guage package with the 10rpm digital tac control. The 115 is great for trolling with the digital tac, not sure about 135/150 slowest speed settings..... The Opti's have been around for a bit so would not expect any surprises with them. Have also been very happy with my SeaStar hyrdaulic helm and ram setup. Easy installation simple to use. Did have a check valve failure on the helm but they couriered me a new one at no cost.

I have a 2000 150 opti,put alot of hours on it with no problems.Surprisingly very good on gas
