This may or may not have been asked before, but curious to what most people around Campbell River feel is the max wind speed from each direction that they will fish?

22 Foot boat most of the time, I have access to.

Depends where your fishing, I usually use 15-20 as my maximum. If your fishing North of seymour narrows a 20mph wind from the north will make it pretty unfishable or atleast really choppy, but if it is a south wind you wont hardly notice until you get further up the channel towards chathem point. Now if your fishing the Lighthouse-hump areas a 15-20 south easter will make for some pretty choppy seas then you throw in a flood tide against it and it gets fairly ugly pretty quick, but a north wind at 15-20 wont affect you too much.

I would say you should be fine, the ebb may be a little choppy but nothing seriouse, wind may affect your boat depending on how much sail it has(area above the waterline)

I don't mind 10's but anything higher I stay at home. It is a back door fishery for both of us. If I were on a trip some where nothing would stop me. Being a back door fishery you can choose to fish the nice days.

Yeah.. turned out to be windless, and beautiful day, with nice fish, and evirocanada must have been smoking crack this morning :)
