Marine Weather Apps

Anyone have any experience or knowledge of any marine weather apps for IPhone/iPad? Specifically ones that cover our west coast? There's a few in the App store but you never know really what your getting, also I realize that checking only one place for marine wind and wave forecasts is iffy, and I usually a couple of different sites but was just wondering.......

one of the most useful apps I have is the NOAA Buoy app, just set all the buoys you want as your favourites and you have up to the hour wind reports for most areas your going to want to go

i will be exploring this exact same question pretty quick as i bit the bullet and upgraded to a 'smart' phone. buoy's are a great source of data but you also have to be aware of where they are located and how they are impacted by local conditions. the NOAA buoy just off of san juan island in the strait is a good example. if the wind is from the SE, fisihng can be sloppy along your southern island shores but great on this side of the strait. if the wind is out of the NW, the southern island can be ok while this side of the strait is impossible. the buoys are, however, a great beginning point for assessing conditions.
